Our daughter is entered in the “Bath of the people between the ages of 2 1 / 2, while in preschool. History teaches us that the child is large, animated objects that can slip unnoticed through the sewer system can be divided and families without prior notice. After reading this book, they rejected our son one of his toys or soap or shampoo permit to remain anywhere near the bathtub, where she was. I was afraid to go down the drain, as the boy toy in history! In addition, he was afraid to go for a swim and thought she could go down the drain the pool. Luckily we were able to work through their fears, in part, by her away from this book. Needless to say, I would not recommend this book to any parent of a child under 3 1 / 2. Rating: 1 / 5
That’s why I read a memory of a book, in which a child sucked into the drain when I was a child, and wondered if he had something to do with my (very bad), let anxiety get in the sewers. When I was in this book, I was pretty sure he had read, and I may have caused terror to the pool drains, toilets, showers, water parks, etc. There is a problem because I can sometimes go to the bathroom in the toilet, in addition to my casa.No I be sure that the cause of my phobia, but it is a terrible book, and I do not want to risk that do not (your child a long life, hopefully for me, but it looks like ) phobia. Rating: 1 / 5
This book is well written and really tells a charming story about a series of wooden figures, put on a few adventures in the bathtub to begin. But one day the child timber is sucked down the drain. Spend a few days in the dark damp bathroom family lost, not asking for nothing – and slowly losing hope, and ultimately to death a kind of apathetic despair. The plumber comes and rescues the baby bath and the family is pleased to wood. The wooden figures are taken out of the tub to a comfortable bed ever since then brought in Nice, where dreaming of new adventures in this new world to play back seguro.Así dry and that’s the story really charming – if you like adults and I firmly convinced that no matter what, it will be down the drain suction in a frightening whirlwind. After reading this story, I have my child is a little wet in bed (after all, read the story after the bath and night) my curiosity, not fear-of-Bath’s son asks, “Why this boy down the drain?”. “Am I going down the drain?” Sigh. I had managed to raise my son, almost four, without fear of the bathtub, or the fear of leakage of ill omen. I think my opinion is selfish – perhaps to a child and afraid of the tub, they could relate to this story, and feared by their work. However – the book does not end with the understanding of people, the bathrooms are harmless. It ends with the trough of persons rescued and taken to another room, never to see the bathroom again. This end does not teach anything but an escape from the bathtub. Throughout the book, the bathroom is really bizarre and apparently a threat to the country is conquered only by flight. Therefore, the children would not recommend either brave or afraid of the bathroom – it’s just not worth it. Rating: 2 / 5
My 2 years old boy is a friendly, exhausted because of the great pictures, but the story of the baby bath down the drain is too much. She woke up with nightmares after he read it, and now instists on taking into account all their toys in the bathtub before you can drain off the water. This book can be useful to their age, they understand that is a story just a story, but the topic is too frightening for children. Rating: 1 / 5
I am 23 and am now rediscovering this book! I loved when I was younger and I remember it is a fun book. Its just a nice story about a family of toys. However, I hate to see so many negative comments. I grew up in this book, and irrational fears or phobias? Long live the people of the bathtub! Rating: 5 / 5
