How do I remove water stains from the chrome faucets in my bathroom sink and bathtub?

I have to save chrome cleaner, but does not work.

  3. sounds crazy, but cream of tartar and hydrogen peroxide. Combination of the two together to make a paste and for the fittings. This should remove the stains.
