Maybe not the best book in the world possible, but the only similarity I’ve found. Rating: 4 / 5
If you want to be historically accurate, this book is for you. The author gives examples of “Obsessive Restoration” and a “compromise” for each element of the restoration of a bungalow bathroom. But even though the commitment was too obsessive for me. In addition, the author lost so many pages discussing the history of the baths, it does not matter to me. Its companion book “Bungalow Kitchens” is much more of the same. I have just built a craftsman house, and my goal was to build a new house with historical influences and, as I had hoped that proposals to take over as the modern materials and modern conveniences to make an appearance bungalow. Obviously this was not the author of the goal – is all about maintaining historical accuracy. This book has many illustrative photos, but they all look dirty and boring for me. I was taught to find something else for me to put my house in the bungalow style, seemed to have no old-fashioned. Rating: 2 / 5
